At Akhada Club, we take pride in bringing traditional Indian strength training into your hands. Every Mudgar we offer is selected and crafted with care, and we want you to feel confident with every purchase.

Our Promise to You

We offer a 7-day return and exchange window from the date of delivery.

If your Mudgar arrives damaged, defective, or you have received the wrong product, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help resolve the issue.

You also have an additional 7 days to ensure your approved return reaches us safely.

Return & Exchange Process

Easy Return Pickup

  • Reverse pickup will be attempted twice for eligible returns.

  • If our courier partner is unable to complete the pickup, you may ship the product back to us.

  • For eligible returns where self-shipping is required, reasonable shipping costs may be reimbursed after verification.

  • Reverse pickup availability may vary depending on your location.

Pro Tip: We strongly recommend recording a short video while unboxing and, if required, while packing your Mudgar for return. This helps us resolve any issue quickly.

Product Condition Requirements

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the Mudgar must be:

  • Unused and in its original condition

  • Free from dents, cracks, scratches, stains, or signs of use

  • Returned with its original packaging, tags, labels, and accessories, where applicable

  • Free from modifications, alterations, engraving, painting, or any other customization performed after delivery

Mudgars that show clear signs of training or use cannot be accepted for return or exchange.

Because Mudgars are made from natural wood, minor variations in grain, texture, colour, knots, and natural markings are not considered defects. These characteristics are part of the natural beauty of wooden equipment.

Return Handling Fee

A nominal handling fee of ₹200 applies to approved return requests.

This helps cover reverse logistics, product inspection, quality checking, and processing costs.

Special Considerations

Natural Wood Variation

Every wooden Mudgar is unique.

Differences in:

  • Wood grain

  • Natural colour

  • Texture

  • Small natural knots

  • Minor surface variations

are normal characteristics of natural wood and do not qualify as manufacturing defects.

We do not accept returns solely because the natural wood appearance differs slightly from photographs shown on the website.

Weight & Product Selection

Mudgars are training tools, and selecting the appropriate weight is important.

We provide weight information on the product page to help you choose the right Mudgar.

An exchange due solely to choosing the wrong weight is subject to our standard exchange policy and product availability.

We recommend selecting your Mudgar weight carefully before placing your order.

Non-Returnable Products

The following products/orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Customized or personalized Mudgars

  • Products that have been engraved, painted, modified, or altered

  • Mudgars that have been used for training

  • Products damaged after delivery due to improper use, storage, handling, or impact

  • Products purchased during specially marked Final Sale / Clearance promotions, unless they arrive defective or damaged

We reserve the right to update these categories when required.

Exchange Policy

  • Each order is eligible for one exchange only.

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability.

  • Size/weight exchanges are allowed only when the returned Mudgar meets our condition requirements.

  • Once the exchanged product has been delivered, the order is considered final.

  • If the requested replacement is unavailable, we may offer store credit or another suitable resolution.

Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled free of charge only before they are dispatched from our fulfillment center.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled directly and will be subject to our standard return policy.

Refund Policy

Store Credit

For eligible returns, we may offer Akhada Club store credit as the preferred refund option.

  • Store credit is issued after the returned product passes inspection.

  • Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

  • Store credit may be used toward future Akhada Club purchases.

Refund to Original Payment Method

Refunds to the original payment method may be provided for eligible cases after the returned product has been received and inspected.

For approved refunds:

  • The refund is initiated after quality inspection.

  • The amount credited may exclude applicable return/handling charges.

  • Bank/payment gateway processing times may vary.

Damaged or Defective Mudgar

Immediate Documentation Required

Because Mudgars are heavy wooden training equipment, we strongly recommend documenting the package immediately upon delivery.

For products that arrive damaged or defective:

  1. Record an unboxing video showing the outer packaging, shipping label, packaging materials, and Mudgar clearly.

  2. If an unboxing video is unavailable, provide clear, high-resolution photographs showing the damage and packaging.

  3. Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery.

Our team will review the evidence and determine whether the product qualifies for a replacement, exchange, or refund.

Possible Issues Covered

Examples of issues that may qualify include:

  • Significant cracks present upon delivery

  • Breakage during transit

  • Incorrect Mudgar received

  • Wrong product or weight shipped

  • Major manufacturing defects

Normal variations in natural wood grain, colour, texture, and minor surface markings are not considered defects.

Important: Do not use a Mudgar that appears damaged. Contact us first so our team can assess the issue safely.

Please ensure that:

  • You use the Mudgar in an adequate open space.

  • People, pets, furniture, vehicles, and other objects are kept at a safe distance.

  • You select an appropriate Mudgar weight according to your training experience.

  • You inspect your Mudgar before each use.

  • You stop using the Mudgar if you notice a crack, structural damage, loose components, or any other condition that could compromise safe use.

Akhada Club is not responsible for damage resulting from improper use, unauthorized modifications, negligence, or failure to follow safe training practices.
